It's officially my Birthday (37 minutes past midnight)!
I am 26 today. I am going to make a kick-ass Birthday cake...i'm thinking chocolate fudge cake with vanilla buttercream icing. Oh yeah.

Happy Turkey Day fellow Canadians!
We aren't actually having a turkey dinner, as it's very expensive to put on, and we don't eat turkey...but it's fun to imagine on holidays haha :P

Sad Tidings
I just wanted to write a quick journal entry to explain my lack of updates of any kind.
Sadly, one week ago today, my Grandmother passed away. I flew home that evening, and just returned back here recently. It was an extremely sad stay at home, and although I cooked and cleaned and made beds and did laundry and many other things (mending, ironing, framing, etc), I was never really busy enough to keep my mind from finding sad thoughts. We had a nice service though, and I got to see all of my family.
I will always miss you Grammy <3
